Acceptance of Terms
By using CrashData.com, LLC’s services or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Scope of Services
CrashData.com, LLC retrieves Event Data Recorder (EDR) data using industry-accepted forensic practices. Services include data extraction and delivery with a courtesy review to aid understanding of your accident, loss, or claim. We do not provide formal opinions or reconstruction reports.
Client Responsibilities
- Submit accurate vehicle details, location, and authorization via the New Case Submission Form.
- Confirm you are the vehicle owner/lessee or have written consent to access EDR data.
- Pay invoices promptly; private clients must pay in advance.
Data Retrieval and Liability
- CrashData.com, LLC commits to retrieving commercially available EDR data using best practices.
- Not every vehicle involved in a crash will yield pre-crash/crash data. There are a multitude of parameters that influence the triggering of an event.
- If retrieval of the data fails due to our process or equipment failure, there will be no charge for the attempt to image the data.
- We will make every reasonable effort to retrieve the data or at a minimum remove the modules from the vehicle in the most efficient manner possible.
- You release CrashData.com, LLC from liability for losses or damages arising from our services.
Service Timeline and Fees
- EDR imaging is completed within 10 business days from agreement receipt, unless expedited service is requested.
- Payment is due upon invoice receipt.
Authorization
Submitting the New Case Submission Form authorizes CrashData.com, LLC to access the vehicle’s EDR data and confirms your legal right to grant access.
